Hashtag it. #Mustaches4Jessi. Tweet it. @Mustaches4Jessi. Instagram it. (There's not an IG account, but hashtag it again). Facebook it. Mustaches for Jessi.
Remember that terrible, awful Batman incident this summer? Remember one of the faces of it, Jessica Redfield/Ghawi? Well, she was my friend's friend.
Jessica's 25th birthday is today! Very bittersweet for said friend, Emily, but she's chosen to celebrate Jessica's awesome life by starting Mustaches 4 Jessi. Tweet her a picture of you wearing a mustache, fake or real, and she's compiling all of them to a Shutterfly account and Facebook album.
Jessi was way too young and left so many people behind. Through this she's touching so many more lives than she probably ever thought possible. And it's all thanks to her love of mustaches and silly pictures.
So draw on a mustache, or don't shave your Movember one just yet. Either way, tweet, instagram, facebook, blog, whatever your picture of you and your sweet, sweet stache. And happy birthday, Jessi!

I Have a Confession...
Some of you may already by be aware, but I think I'm relapsing. I have severe Obsessive Corgi Disorder. This weekend, I decided to read about and look at all of Pudge's tumblr. All of it. I finished today. I'm obsessed with him. He's just so flufftacular.
Of course, no corgi can compare to my sweet Napoleon. He now answers to the name Mr. PooPoos. It's pretty great.
Anyway, point being: I'm re-obsessed with corgis thanks to Pudge derPoopster. Feel free to look at his awesome tumblr and fall in love/obsession with me.

Social Sunday
I kind of wanted to wait until Thursday to do a thankful post, but I figured I'd be too busy eating the most delicious turkey (Greenberg Turkeys. Google it. It's been on Oprah's Favorite Things, so you know it's LEGIT.), napping, and watching football (GO FROGS!!! Beat Texas!). So I'm linking up for Sunday Social again!
I am thankful for the most amazeballs family ever. I thankful they are supportive of me no matter what. I'm thankful that my divorced parents get along and I'm thankful that I'm reminded of this regularly. Their friendliness post-divorce has made my life so much easier. I'm thankful for my amazing step-family (or bonus family as my Dad likes to say), including my step-mom, step-seesters, and step-grandmother. I'm thankful for the ten years I got to spend with my step-grandfather. I'm thankful for family here and gone.
I'm thankful for my friends, old and new. Friends like Jessica who(m?) I've known since we were in first grade (although we weren't friends until fifth grade). Friends I met later in school like Kendall and Muck. Friends I met at TCU. Friends I met after graduating. Friends I met after I moved home. Friends from camp. Friends I've made at work. All of my friends are the best and I love them all.
I'm thankful for my part-time job. I'm gaining a tiny bit of experience while working in a really fun environment.
I'm thankful for the opportunity to go back to school and further pursue my passion.
I'm thankful for my sweet Nappy boy even when he gets bitey and tries to gnaw my arm off.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Twilight Nostalgia
Tonight I will, like many others, go to a premier viewing of Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part II. (I found a 10 pm showing. I was pretty excited because I'm old and not so much a fan of midnight showings any more.) Anyway, it's made me incredibly nostalgic and reminiscent about the first midnight Twilight showing.
We had a group of nine that night (and I remember I didn't have class Friday so I was ready to party!) but tonight if we were seeing it all together we'd only be eight. Madee, I know you've the best seat in the house, but you are so missed. That night was a blast, as was just about any time we hung out.
Sorry to get all sappy and whatnot. It's just been kind of heavy on my heart this week. I hope any and all of you seeing Breaking Dawn this weekend love it!

Sunday Social
What is currently on your wish list? New rain boots. A few months ago, Nappy ate part of one of the laces in one of my rain boots. It's kind of a lame reason, but those lasted a good four years and I got them on sale on Black Friday (40% off. I never shop on Black Friday)! And they were Coach!
Share a new iPhone, droid, iPad app you have recently discovered that we all need: Matching with Friends. It's amazeballs. I don't have many real friends that play it so I have mostly games with strangers and it would be nice if people I really knew played it!
What is a new Fall TV show you have added to your DVR? The Mindy Project. I posted a few months ago abut how much I LOVE Mindy Kaling. Ummm, we should totes be BFFs. But this show is HILARIOUS. I also recommend her book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me. And even though it's not new new, it's only in its second season: Once Upon a Time. It's SOOOO good.
Share your Social Media links for us to follow you on (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) Tell us which is your favorite and why? Facebook Twitter Instagram Pinterest
I love all Social Media. It's ultimately what I'd love to have a job doing. I'm currently obsessed with Instagram. I've been doing my Project/Photo 365 (+1) on it. I'm kind of excited to be done with 365 so I can upload more than one picture a day to it! At the same time, it's probably good I only do one picture a day on it right now haha.
What is a TV show or Movie or Song you could listen to or watch over and over and over and never get tired of…feel free to name one of each: Reruns of Friends on Nick@Nite right now is a big favorite. As is two hours of Boy Meets World every afternoon on MTV2. Supposedly Disney is in the works for a BMW sequel about Cory and Topanga's little girl, Girl Meets World. I have mixed feelings, obvs. And movies? Woah, there's a lot. Anchorman, the Wedding Date, Mean Girls, the list goes on. I can pretty much quote those three movies though. Those are the types of movies that no matter when they're on, I plan to watch.
Are you linking up for Sunday Social?

Instagram 365 (+1): October 2012
Can you believe it's November already?! I know I say this every month I recap, but this year has FLOWN by!
Camp started the hashtag Mystic Monday on Instagram and I participated 4/5 Mondays this month! It's so fun to see everyone's memories on Instagram and reminisce all the fun times everyone shares with their own cabins growing up at camp.
TCU lost their first game and I ate my feelings... This was a sad October trend and I will not be wearing this purple color I've had on my toes this month (even though I LOVE it! OPI Suzi and 7 Dusseldorfs. SO cute).
I got Nappy his second soccer ball (his first died an unfortunate death by dog teeth as it was foam. This one is not and is still alive). He LOVES soccer ball. It's his favorite outside toy!
Nappy got a cone for licking his paw... He was not happy.
We went out to Lago one Saturday and had unintentionally color coordinated. Aren't my friends good looking?!
My family had to put down our sweet lab, Angel. Then the next day my dad texted me a picture of that sweet face on the bottom. Meet our new pup (technically Nappy's uncle?) Jack! He's the sweetest boy ever (well, since Nappy, of course) and is a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix.
TCU HOMECOMING!
Nappy had his boy surgery... He was so sad and pitiful last week!
Second month in a row I got to see one of my campers in Tyler! So exciting!
Made Tweety cookies for said camper and celebrated Halloweekend!
Tuesday night I went to Grand Prairie and saw the SYTYCD Tour! We had the BEST seats. We were in the 7th row. I wouldn't have wanted to be any closer. It was awesome. I could hear them exhale. They did Gangnam Style as part of the finale. It was great.
And then Nappy dressed up as a (land) shark for Halloween! He was so cute waiting for the trick-or-treaters last night.
WOW! I guess October was a little more action packed than I thought! I hope you all had a fabulous October and have an even better November!
