Nappy was about 2 inches away from catching a squirrel this morning. I thought it was a rat. I know squirrels and rats are basically the same animal, but I was relieved when I saw it was a squirrel. Since squirrels live in trees I think they're slightly cleaner animals. Flawed reasoning? Probably, but whatever.

I'm taking an ethics class this semester and it's kicking my butt. It's SOOOO philosophical and I've never taken a philosophy class before so it's really taking its toll on me already. Any suggestions on how to handle a philosophy class? Or if you've taken ethics, how did you handle it?
I need more silverware. I run the dishwasher more than necessary because I'm out of silverware. So annoying. #Firstworldproblems?

So, the building my classes are in is connected by an atrium and a name to the arts building. At the beginning of every semester, random new art pops up around the atrium and on some concrete slabs outside. This week a cornucopia popped up, so I have to wonder, is TCU hosting the Hunger Games and no one told me?! Where's Katniss?
The Mindy Project starts its third season tonight. It might be my favorite comedy on TV right now. I just love Mindy Kaling.
