Instagram 365 (+1): December 2012

I successfully completed Project/Photo 365 (+1)!!! Let's all give me a huge round of applause!

Here's a look back at my December:

Bestie and I spent a long afternoon relaxing together.

Went to Rick's with my ladies to celebrate Kendall taking one of her tests to become certified.

I tasted and found a wine that I like!

Went to the Christmas lights at the Fairgrounds (it kind of sucked, but it was only the first year and it was only $5).

I made a tacky Christmas sweatshirt and went to Kendall's End of the World/ Tacky Christmas Sweater/White Elephant party.

I got to celebrate a WHITE CHRISTMAS!!! IN Texas! Nappy LOVED the snow.

My hometown finally started receiving their permits from TABC to start selling wine & beer. Breaking news, y'all.

And to end the year, I celebrated with these lovely ladies (and a few cool gentlemen, but "boys don't take pictures," so they're nowhere to be seen).

High Five for Friday!

It's Friday, y'all! AND it's the Friday before Christmas!!! Yayyyyy!

Tonight my bestie is have an End of the World/Tacky Christmas/White Elephant party at her apartment and I've been diligently crafting my sweater (it's really a sweatshirt) since yesterday afternoon. It's pretty awesome and I can't wait to show it off (don't worry, I'll post a picture of it tomorrow)!

Cold weather made its way back to Texas! I think it's supposed to be in the 50's on Christmas Day which will be nice. Not too cold, but definitely not hot. I hate when it's hot on Christmas and I can't enjoy my TCU Marry Christmas Y'all t-shirt and any next PJs that could be waiting for me under the tree.

For tonight's party, I'm making these sausage balls. I made them for our Super Bowl party in February and they're SOOOO good! They're a pain in the ass to make (mainly because I don't have a Kitchen Aide Stand Mixer... Sorry I was day dreaming about said mixer's awesomeness), but they're amazeballs delish.

Since it's the last week before Christmas, I got lots of fun goodies yesterday at work (and today when I went in for some trial contacts... I only have 3 pair left and my order isn't in yet). I love the people I work with. They're so much fun and so nice.

Last night, seester and I went on a dinner date. It was so much fun. Gotta love sister dates!

And a bonus: The shortest day of the year is over!!! The days start getting long again! I really don't like when it gets dark at 5 pm. It's so depressing...

"If U Seek Amy" - Britney Spears; Amanda wrote a paper on this for one of our classes

"When It Rains" - Eli Young Band; saw them for BYX Date Auction date at House of Blues Dallas, two words: scope girl
"Spaceman" - The Killers; saw them with my mom at Nokia, one of the best concerts ever

"Don't Trust Me" - 3Oh!3; After seeing this as statuses and photo album names on Facebook I finally heard it
"Right Round" - Flo Rida; listening to this in Brigitte's brother's car with the bass turned way up
"Pony (It's OK)" - Erin McCarley; I suggested my step-sister dance to this and then she got a 93 on her solo, so proud
"Live Your Life" - TI ft. Rihanna; Numa Numa used in a rap song? Fantastic!
"Hoedown Throwdown" - Miley Cyrus; seeing the Hannah Montana Movie on a roomie date and getting looks from my roomies for knowing the words
"Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)" - Beyonce; one of many obsessions by all college students
"My Life Would Suck Without You" - Kelly Clarkson; oh, Kelly, how we'd missed you!

"All Summer Long" - Kid Rock; I liked this song so much I downloaded it by the Hi Masters because Kid Rock doesn't have his stuff on iTunes
"Blame It" - Jamie Foxx ft. T. Pain; My birthday party
"Love, Save the Empty" - Erin McCarley; seeing He's Just Not That Into You and feeling so enlightened and wanting to re-read he book
"Krazy" - Pitbull ft. Lil Jon; part of my step-sister's hip-hop in her spring show was this song and I loved them both (the song and the hip-hop)

Ok, not as hard as I thought to keep it under 25 songs. I feel like these doing these posts 4 days in a row is equivalent to how long I've been in college. I seriously don't think I should be a senior yet. I was JUST a freshman... Oh nostalgia!
