Announcement... Surprise... Whathaveyou

I'm no longer GrownUpLand! A couple of weeks ago, I posted about renaming my blog because I didn't feel like it was going in the "GrownUpLand" direction I had originally thought it would. So I thought about it. And I thought about it. And I thought about it some more. And then it dawned on me (with some help with a words with friends dictionary).

I really wanted to tell y'all last week... or whenever I accidentally killed my GrownUpLand header and couldn't find it again, but I decided to wait until today, March 1st!

I'm also going to start trying to respond to my comments, because I love when other people respond to mine! It's kind of like having a pen pal, especially when you get mail from a blog you comment on a lot!

Anyway, the renaming just stemmed from me being tired of GrownUpLand because not a lot is happening there. Not to mention even when a lot does happen there, I probably won't blog too much about it. Don't wanna jinx anything...

So, there you have it. A rambling explanation of what's been going on with this bliggity blog. I hope you're excited for me, because I'm pretty excited. I'm taking full advantage of picnik while I can and using all the fancy "pro" tools since they don't require money.

Blog Milestone!

For the past few months I have become almost obsessive with how many visitors I get a day to my blog, especially on the days I post. Thanks, Blogger, for providing the Stats page.

Over the past months, my number of visitors has risen and I love it! Sometime in the past 10 hours I hit a milestone. My blog was visited for the 400th time in the month of March alone (which isn't even over yet)!

So I would like to take this time to thank my followers and friends who read regularly for visiting and reading. Maybe when I reach 500 visits in one month I'll do something fun like a give away! So keep coming back, leave comments, tell me what's going on in your life, let me know if you're frustrated with your job search like I am, etc. My main goal in the coming months is to connect with more recent college graduates who are finding their way in the real world, employed or not.

Bucket List

You may have noticed, I added a new page to my blog! I talked about starting a bucket list earlier, but I didn't want to do it in a post that I'd have to continually update and then it'd be awkwardly in some random place, blah blah blah. Then I discovered my ability to start PAGES on this fancy blog. I feel accomplished, even though my bucket list currently only has 3 things on it and one is a short term goal (adopt a tri-color corgi).

So, readers, I'm asking you for help: if you know me, what are some things you think I should do in my lifetime (that I'll actually do haha), and those of you out there that come across GrownUpLand, shoot me some ideas of what something(s) on your bucket list is/are.
