Everyday in May: Day 10

Today's prompt is an embarrassing moment. But I'm REALLY easily embarrassed, so anything embarrassing is the most embarrassing moment.

Instead of publishing my most mortifying moment on the internet for anyone to see, I'm going to leave you with a silly one that isn't so bad in all actuality.

A little over a year ago, my mom and I went to get pedicures. I hit the jackpot and got everyone's favorite, Danny. He gives the BEST leg massages. Ever. Anyway, after the best pedicure ever, My mom and I went to sit in the drying area with our feet under that light that probably doesn't actually do anything for your pedicure, but it does keep them away from things to run into. Well, when I was turning to get up, I ran my toe into my mom's purse and messed up my pedicure right there. Danny had to come over and fix my toe while poking fun at me.

Stupid, but I'm super easily embarrassed and my nail salon is ALWAYS super busy so there were a ton of people laughing at me too. But I laughed it off and am always crazy careful getting up from that little table now - hahaha.

And again, it's almost a week into September and I forgot to recap my August!

I supported Chick-fil-A because I thought the whole situation was dumb. I'm not trying to get all political and start a fight or anything (I hate politics. a lot), but since when did we give up our first amendment rights?

I watched Aly Raisman win bronze and gold and decided I want to be her in my next life. She's SO talented and beautiful, too! Some girls get all the luck!

Took seester to get her first ever pedicure before her foot surgery so she'd have pretty toes for the Dr.

I went to Rick's with my ladies and saw a band there that my parents used to go see back in the day (amazeballs band, btw).

I bought tickets to the SYTYCD tour stop in Grand Prairie. Can't wait to see Cyrus and Eliana and a handful of my other favorites!

Nappy's girlfriend trapped Nappy and me in the backyard last week. I got no less than 15 bug bites in about 10 minutes. I still don't have West Nile yet though!

We had our work baby shower for Katie because she's due in FOUR WEEKS! Yay! I'm so excited to meet her sweet baby girl.

Day Nine

Day 9 - A photo of what I last purchased...

Well, yesterday was a frustrating day, but I won't get into that! But it ended with a nice, relaxing pedi with my bestie, Kendall. So just imagine this super cute purple (OPI's Funky Dunky from the Shrek Collection) on my toes! Just in time for FOOTBALL SEASON (which is 10 days away)!
